International Collaboration
Richard Carter and Sandra Cheesman (UK)
We have close collaborative links with Richard Carter and
Sandra Cheesman at the Institute of Immunology and
Infection Research, University of Edinburgh, UK.
Mathieu Ndounga (Republic of Congo)
We are fortunate to work in close collaboration with Dr
Ndounga’s research group at C.E.R.V.E in Brazzaville,
Republic of Congo.
Pedro Cravo (Portugal)
We are actively working with with Prof. Cravo's team at
the Centro de Malária e Outras Doenças Tropicais,
Lisbon, on a number of projects, including work on
African P. vivax and drug resistance in malaria parasites.
Department of Protozoology, Nekken, Nagasaki
We work within the Department of Protozoology at Nagasaki University's Institute of Tropical Medicine (NEKKEN).
An extremely lively and international laboratory, we have the pleasure of working very closely on a range of malaria
related research projects with diverse mix of researchers, some of whom are pictured below…
Below are some of the members of the Department of Protozoology with whom I work most closely
